In 1947, Martin Bailey built his first caravan in his garage in South Bristol. After a successful sale of this caravan at Ashton Gate, Bristol for the then large amount of £200 he decide to form F.G Bailey LTD in 1948.
With the rapid growth during the first 25 years, the company was sold to Patrick and Stephen Howard in 1977. Bailey of Bristol is still currently run by the Howard family.
1982 saw the introduction of the Pageant Caravan which is one of the most successful caravans produced. The Pageant was followed by the upmarket range ‘The Senator’ which introduced air central heating and an integral cassette toilet as standard.
With 65 years experience designing and retailing caravans Bailey of Bristol are now one of the largest caravan and motorhome manufacturers in Europe. The expertise used during their time producing caravans has propelled Bailey into the motorhome market.
In 2011 their first motorhome, ‘the Approach SE’ with exceptional build quality and design they offered unrivalled value for money which has continued until this day.
Bailey currently produces two motorhome ranges with different options on each. These are the Bailey Autograph with 6 models and the Bailey Approach Advance with 4 models. We are sure whichever you choose you will not be disappointed.
