Established in 1960. Frankia produced its first motorhome in 1973 in Marktschorgast in Bavaria, Germany. Ten years later they began mass-producing motorhomes. The high level of build quality made them popular around the world.

In 1990, Pilote, the major French manufacturer, seized the opportunity to buy Frankia. This established both brands at the front of the marketplace.

Frankia is know for its Innovation

Frankia’s innovation is well known. They developed the double floor concept which maximises the use of storage space. The double floor also enables a heated garage and helped protect pipes against frost.

Hand made in Germany

One of Frankia’s claims is that every vehicle is ‘made by hand in Germany’. The engineers that build them are true craftsmen. They currently produce 36 different motorhome models. Amongst them includes the 3.5t Platin, F-Line and M-Line. You can even select your choice of Mercedes or Fiat engines.

Fresh Water System

Frankia are again bringing German ingenuity to bear with the fresh water system. Fresh water can come from several sources so there is always enough drinking water on board. There is a 20l fresh water tank with an external service flap for added hygiene for filling. An extra 150l tank supplies everything else for normal household use. together with the toilet cassette there is an optional 80l sewage tank.
