We’re so lucky to have found our van “Banksy”, We were looking to upgrade to a newer Vdub and found Banksy on the Oaktree website on Sat 8am.  Neil called me first thing on Saturday Am and after a few more phone calls and some extra photos – DEAL DONE!

Looking ahead we plan to travel to see a lot more of the UK and revisit some of our favourite beaches – No we’re not telling where they are!  May be even venture to France and further afield to watch some sport etc., and visit some friends in Europe.

We were kept informed on progress as Banksy was prepared during the week for a Covid Safe handover a week or so later.  Oaktree are very professional outfit with great knowledge and experience throughout the full team. We always felt safe and secure and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Camper or Motorhome.  They have a great warranty for peace of mind – so you can buy with confidence!  Look at their feedback!   Thanks to Neil, Brad and the team for looking after us! Alan Marsh and Karen Povey have traded their caravan in and brought a Swift Bolero motorhome and are planning to travel around the UK and France. They saw us online and liked the choice of makes and models we had in stock. they said the service was “first class and very helpful” and that, “we have made their dream come true”. We wish them well in their future adventures.

Alex was extremely happy with our service when he bought his first vehicle from us, and told us that he now wouldn’t go anywhere else! We don’t think you can receive a better compliment than that! We wish him all the best on his travels!

Andrew Davis is pictured here collecting his swift escape. Having previously hired a motorhome to travel round Scotland he was so taken with the lifestyle he decided to purchase his own. He now plans to use it regularly to travel around the rest of the UK. He first saw us online and then in our advert in the Caravan and Camping Club magazine. He came to us as we had a good reputation. Andrew said, ”a very good, friendly, service”.

A lovely picture of Brenda Layne with Brad Matthews collecting her 2008 Hymer TEC. She upgraded to a larger motorhome to enable her to travel with her daughter and grandchildren. Her daughter and son-in-law will also be borrowing it to compete in various triathlons and marathons around the UK.

Here’s Brian Thomas collecting his stunning new Pilote P740 from our Jason. He came to see us after being recommended by friends and as we were local to him before falling in love with the Pilote. He told us that he found our staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable, and we very much met all of his expectations. Brian plans to use his new motorhome to go walking, cycling and golfing all over UK and Europe! We’re sure he’ll have a blast!

Here’s Donald Bruce collecting his lovely Pilote P650 from our Brad. He had a Volkswagen T5 conversion previously and wanted to upgrade to something larger. He plans to start off with a trip to the Lake District and then will be visiting his sister in Scotland! He said “Very happy with the service, we travelled as far as Exeter looking for the right motorhome!”

Andy venson (centre) is pictured with Lionel and Vivian Charlton taking ownership of their Auto-Sleeper Broadway Motorhome. They are planning to first visit Derbyshire and do some fishing. This is not their first motorhome and have previously travelled to Norway, Sweden, France, Spain, Luxemburg, and Germany. They have been members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club for 54 years and visited Buckingham Palace on the 100-year anniversary. They saw us in the Caravan and Motorhome Magazine, MM Magazine, and Motor Caravanner’s Magazine too. They came to Oaktree as there was a good selection of Motorhomes of the type that they were interested in. They said, ”we found everyone very pleasant and they provided good attention to detail”.

Chris & Jenny collected this beautiful and rare Hymer Starline B690 from us this as pictured here with Brad. They had been searching for over a year for a replacement for their trusty Rapido which had covered an impressive 160,000 kilometres during their many years of ownership taking them all over Europe! They knew exactly what they wanted and after seeing our advert before vehicle had even been prepared or photographed they made a trip to see us after speaking to Brad on the phone. It was love at first sight and they were over the moon upon finally seeing the vehicle fully prepared to our high standards when they collected it. They plan to (somehow) use this motorhome even more than their last vehicle and tour Europe for several months at a time visiting friends that they’ve met on their travels, we wish them a fantastic time!

George Coggan is pictured with Jay (left) handing over the keys to a Hymer B544. George is not new to motorhoming, having previously owned 3 other vehicles. He has travelled widely around Europe having visited Germany, Austria, Italy, Corsica, Croatia, Ireland, and Scotland. He is planning to attend many of the Hymer Club International (HCI) rallies too. seeing us in the Caravan and Motorhome Club magazine and MMM Magazine inspired him to visit as we had a good selection of left-hand drive Hymers. He particularly liked the fact that we give 3 years warranty and change the cam-belt. He said, “excellent handover and explanation, better than expected”.

David Collings, his wife and their lovely dog have upgraded their motorhome to a Dethleffs Globe S and are planning to travel all around the UK, Isle of Wight and Cornwall. They saw us online and in the Caravan and Motorhome Club magazine and having heard good reviews decided to visit. He found the whole experience “totally professional”.

They are planning to travel around the UK and then explore Europe. They saw us online and in the Motor Caravanner Magazine and decided to give us a visit as we had a good selection of motorhomes to look round. They found all the doors were open so they could look around them uninterrupted by sales people. They said, ”kind friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend to others”.

Our Andy Vinson (left) is pictured with Debbie Hoskinson and her partner Paul, collecting their very first motorhome a Roller Team 746, They enjoy photography and cycling and are planning to visit Scotland and possibly Europe in the near future. They saw us in the Autotrader Magazine and were impressed with our good reputation, the variety of motorhomes we had in stock and also the prices. They said, “keep up the good work”. We will!

Brad Matthews is pictured (right) with Doug Shield and his wife, collecting their spacious Hymer 580, This is their first motorhome and as Doug is retiring this year they are planning to spend lots of time travelling around Europe. They first saw us online and were impressed with the selection of Hymers we had in stock. They said, ”All the staff were very pleasant and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere. An all-round good experience”.

Here’s Joy & Adrian Dudley collecting their gorgeous 2018 Elddis Prestige 196 from our Brad. This is their first motorhome and after a trial run to Whitby in a few weeks they plan to take a trip over to Croatia with it! They were first recommended to us by a friend and then fell in love with the Elddis upon seeing it. They told us they were very impressed with our friendly service and that we exceeded their expectations! Happy travels!

Our Rob Campbell (left) is pictured handing over to Stuart and Kaye Farish their Swift Bolero 724FB. They are planning trips around the UK, Europe and North Africa. They liked Oaktree Motorhomes because they were left alone to look at the selection of motorhomes which were all unlocked. As for their experience at Oaktree they said, “After we decided on a motorhome, the sales, after sales and the service departments were fantastic in all aspects of the process”.

Brad Matthews (right) is pictured with George Holliday who is collecting his Skeeal Mercedes Atego 815 which used to be an old library bus. George saw it online and decided that its size made it ideal for use as a music studio as well as a motorhome and would also enable him to eventually travel worldwide. Here’s Hugh & Brenda Goldie collecting their lovely new Autotrail Apache 634 from our Richard. This is their second motorhome and they flew all the way down to us from Scotland after seeing online that we had the right model in stock at the right price. They plan to travel to France and Europe in their new motorhome, happy travels from all of the Oaktree Team!

Our Andy Vinson (right) handing over a McLouis Tandy motorhome to Glyn Phillips. this is his first motorhome and he will be using it to travel around the UK first and then possibly going over to Europe to do some climbing. He saw us online. So, on the way back from Wales, he decided to call in and see us. He said, “he was very impressed with the friendliness of staff and the handover demonstration given by Jason”.

Here’s the lovely Michael & Ellen Hill collecting their stunning new Swift Bolero 712 SB from our Jason. Both keen cyclists they are planning to travel all over the UK and Ireland in their new motorhome. They told us that they chose us due to our fantastic reputation and previous experience in dealing with us. They liked our friendly staff and how straightforward purchasing their new motorhome was. They were impressed with their handover from Jason where “everything was covered & explained to us and we are delighted with it all!”

This is their third motorhome in which they are planning to use to travel around Europe. They saw us online and in the MMM magazine, liked the selection of Hymers that we had in stock and decided to visit us. He said, “everyone was very helpful, all our requests were dealt with promptly. Staff took their time with us and there was no rushing. Excellent handover by Jason”.

They said, ”we were treated well on all our visits and as we had bought our previous motorhome from Oaktree, it was an easy decision to return. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

As a previous motorhome owner, he has travelled a lot around Europe, He saw on line and in the MMM magazine. He came to see us because of our reputation and word and mouth from fellow motorhomes and online forums. He was impressed with staff product knowledge, friendliness, and the no-pressure sales environment. He said, “they exceeded expectations, nothing was a bother and the handover from Jason was very thorough”.

Our Brad Matthews(right) with Justin and Nicki Earl, collecting their very first motorhome. They are planning to travel around Europe now that the children have grown up. They first saw us online and liked the wide selection of vans that we had and that they were all open for inspection, with no pressure from the sales staff. Nicki is hoping to be a spectator at the Badminton horse trials next year, so the motorhome will come in handy for them. They said “customer service is second to none. Everyone is really friendly and very helpful. They exceeded our expectations with great service and knowledge. The handover was very thorough and well informed, all without pressure or being rushed”.

They were recommended to us by friends and said that were impressed by our wide range of motorhomes and helpful staff. They told us “Oaktree full exceeded our expectations! We had a great handover and habitation run-through – they fulfilled every requirement above and beyond our expectations”

They are planning to take their motorhome and bicycles throughout Europe, stopping off at all the major attractions. They found us in the MMM magazine and were impressed with the large range of motorhomes we had in stock. They found the service they received to be friendly and efficient from start to finish.

He saw us on line and in the Caravan and Camping Club magazine and decided to have a drive out to see us. Mark Rushton, pictured here with Andy Vinson, is delighted with his 2013 Burstner Elegance. He’s very much into motorsports and needed a motorhome with a large garage so that he could transport his kit on race days. He’s very happy with the service he received at Oaktree and will be recommending us to his friends.

Darren & Heather McGee collected their beautiful 2015 Pilote P740 from us this afternoon. This is their first motorhome and they travelled to us from Yorkshire after seeing our wide range of stock online and competitive pricing. They told that they were very impressed with our “no-pressure” attitude and how easy it was to buy from us. They have a week-long trip to Wales planned already for next week and will then be off to Spain in the summer!

Here’s Mike and Lynne Cox who are delighted to take ownership of a lovely B544 Hymer from Jason (right). They saw our advert in the MMM magazine and decided to visit us. This is not their first motorhome as they are old hands at this lifestyle, having been to Norway, Turkey, Greece, plus a few other destinations. They are planning to add more countries to their list in the near future. They chose Oaktree Motorhomes because we had exactly what they were looking for and were satisfied that they were dealing with friendly, professional and very helpful people. A very happy Trevor and Chrissy Dodd taking ownership of their gorgeous 17 plate Roller Team motorhome from our Jason (centre). They liked our easy-to-use website and saw our adverts in the Caravan and Motorhome Club and Caravan and Camping Club magazines. They chose Oaktree due to our great reputation, friendly atmosphere and our hassle-free approach to browsing. They are continuing to travel around the UK and abroad having previously loved their adventures around Spain. They said, “We feel that Oaktree did a great job. They have travelled all over southern Europe previously and will now be heading to Scandinavia now that they have a fully winterised motorhome which Gill will be posting about on her travel blog. Jason Wibrow with his first every Motorhome and he is planning to attend VW Club rallies, he saw us on line and in a magazine advert and decided to visit. He liked the vehicle we had and the friendliness of the staff He said, “exceeded my expectations, they have done exactly what they said they would do and their communication was fantastic.”

Peter Woodgates is pictured with our Jason (centre) taking ownership of a lovely Dethleffs Esprit motorhome. Peter also has a 40 ft motor boat but states that the motorhome will enable him to visit family and friends. He is planning to visit Europe, mainly France. He saw us online and was impressed with the range of quality motorhome we had in stock and that all the vehicles were left open for inspection, with no pressure to buy, but with staff on hand to ask if any information was required.
